Discovering Ancient Egypt through art will be an exciting exploration of mummies, sarcophaguses, hieroglyphics, canopic jars, and pyramids for young artists. At the end of the adventure, parents are invited to a reception to view artwork.
Creepy Crawly Clay Creatures

Join the fun and create creepy crawly creatures out of clay! We will explore different methods of building clay structures while creating our own imaginary monsters that may exist in our closets.

Learn to use the basic functions on your camera and how to take professional looking photographs. We will discuss different angles, cropping your photos, and how to manipulate your photographs on the computer using Photoshop. Photos will be taken inside the classroom and outside on campus. Please bring your camera, the instruction manual with FireWire (connecting cord to computer), and a flash drive.
Computer Animation
Age 9-11
1-3 p.m. Mon-Fri (July 26-30) Fee $89
You will learn how to create your own stop-motion film using photography and the computer. You will be introduced to Moviemaker computer software and create a movie using your own art, photos, titles, music and more! Please bring your camera, the instruction manual with FireWire (connecting cord to computer), and a flash drive.
Sewing for the Beginner
Age 12+
6:30-8:30 p.m. Thurs (July 8-29) Fee $59
You will learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine to create your own accessories and home decor items. You can make your choice of a tote bag or a throw pillow. Be prepared to purchase a pattern, fabric, and any required notions. Please bring your sewing machine.
