Cruise Line Review: Carnival Cruise Line

Carnival Cruise Line was founded in 1972 and has been known around the world as the cruise line that knows how to party. Carnival Cruise ships are very distinguishable in any port of call, all Carnival vessels boast a whopping whale tale drenched in the company’s colors: red, blue, and white (This whale tail was first piloted on the Tropicale back in 1981). Today, Carnival is the World’s Largest Cruise Line and has been ranked by many cruise critics as the number one cruise line in the world.

Today the company sails 23 vessels to almost anywhere your mind could imagine. Carnival spreads its vessels throughout the world, but to date their number one base is the Caribbean. They also offer seasonal service to Europe, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, New England, Bermuda, and sometimes South America.

If you are young (including those who are young at heart), single, and enjoy having a great time in a party type atmosphere, then Carnival Cruise Line is definitely for you! Despite the young audience that Carnival attracts-- on most if not on all of their sailings-- people from all age groups can be spotted roaming around the ship.
The good thing about Carnival is that they do offer twenty-four hour room service, as well as pizza and ice cream. Carnival does have assigned dining for all passengers onboard. In addition to the assigned dining (which is on all of their ships and now is flexible for guest making your dining experience accessible and hassle free), on the Spirit (Carnival Spirit, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Legend, Carnival Pride) and Conquest (Carnival Conquest, Carnival FreedomCarnival Liberty, Carnival Glory, Carnival Valor) class vessels there are specialty dining options for guest who want to indulge into more fine dining options. (These specialty restaurants require reservations, which can be made onboard, and do require an additional monetary contribution).

Carnival has had some great accomplishments over the past couple years. In 1996, Carnival was the first cruise line to issue a cruise ship into service that weighed over 100,000 gross tons. Her name is, Carnival Destiny, and she currently sails from Miami, Florida all year round to the Caribbean. In 1998, the Carnival Elation was the first cruise ship to ever come equipped with an azipod propulsion system (This system allows cruise ships to have more maneuverability).

Overall, Carnival is a great cruise line that brings lots of fun and entertainment for the whole family. Mostly, singles and first time cruisers frequent Carnival Cruise Line. Carnival is Fun for All and All for Fun! Take a cruise on one of Carnival’s Fun Ships Today! Book a Carnival Cruise, and experience not only “Vegas at Sea”, but a cruise vacation like no other. They have some of the cheapest deals to the Caribbean, Canada, and to the Bahamas in the entire industry!
