'Composed as a gift for the marriage of a couple of friends in 1970 & dropped 2 years later in a limited run of 500 copies, this psychedelique rock mass [re-issued by CBS in 1975] remains a wonderful masterpiece of French pop prog. An amazing work which has stood the test time gaining cult status due to it's unique mixture of orchestral movements in ze dark, otherworldly choruses, mysterious sound effects, burning guitar leads & tuff breakbeats. A magnum opus which crosses boundaries and places it as one of the most genre defying records of the early 70's. Classical avant garde progressive & pop merge in a unique and magnificent way.' ~ some bra
don't even trip, potato chip. it's still mf dub week up in this, but i need to stay interested in what we're doing here & droppin olde faves aint exactly inspiring to me at the moment. technically this is even older than the dub schtuff, but it's newer to me :) previously shared by our bros at mutant sounds, there can be no doubt that this one sounds mo betta. i agree with the review above, más o menos, but definitely hear some zany zeuhl & rio qualities in the musique as well. trifling pc speakers are not recommended for this monster. a 320 rip
