Have Canadians discovered gene, which blocks HIV?

Canadian scientists have discovered gene, which may stop expanding of HIV virus and AIDS evolution. Specialists say that it is the ravine in studies on vaccine and cure for this incurable so far disease.
Gene named TRIM22 shows natural defensive function. It’s the only human gene which has the ability to block HIV virus. Scientists from Alberty University hopes, that this discover will help in developing vaccine for this deadly virus. “It’s really exciting – the human organ can defend himself against the HIV virus” –said chief of studying crew Steven Barr.
TRIM22 gene, activated in bacterial culture attacked by HIV virus, blocks its breeding and holds it in cell. Canadian scientist discovered, that in infected person this gene is inactive.
Steven Bar says that further studies may last for even ten years, before the first curing methods can be discovered. Specialists points though, that this discovery is really significant step into discovering the cure for AIDS.
