Two harp traditions have remained in Venezuela.
The first is called the harp of the llanos, or arpa llanera, from the name of the great plains in the southern part of the country,
the other is called arpa tuyera from the name of the River Tuy, in the central region of Venezuela.
The first CD is devoted to the arpa llanera, the second CD covers the arpa tuyera.
