Basketball Post-Season AwardsBoth Oak Park and Staley boy’s teams were “District Runner’s Up”. Winnetonka’s Carvel Claggett and Preston Oakes were named All-Conference First Team while Tyler Duley and Skyler Harris were Honorable Mention. Carvel Claggett was All-District as well.
North Kansas City High School girls were Conference Champions. The school’s Brittany Williams was named All-District, All-Conference First Team and the Suburban Mid-6 Conference Player of the Year. Nina Pinkney was also named All-Conference First Team while JaKyra Shelton was named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Staley’s girls won Districts and Sectionals, advancing to State Quarterfinals. Bree Fowler and Brynn Williamson were selected to The Kansas City Star’s All-Northland team.
