Coach Wheeler comes to Staley from Adrian High School in Adrian, Missouri, where he posted 107-54 record in his six years as head coach. He built a basketball program in a high school that has been largely known for its football history and most recently, wrestling. Coach Wheeler’s teams have made two quarterfinal appearances in the state playoffs, and last year, set a school high record of 28 wins in a season.
