Back to Art – Enrolling for Fall Courses Now
The Kansas City Art Institute’s School for Continuing and Professional Studies is enrolling now for fall courses. The School for Continuing and Professional Studies provides art and design classes ranging from digital animation to traditional life drawing for ages 6 through adult.
The Art Institute understand the challenges of taking classes on top of the rest of life’s busy schedule, so they have convenient class times including daytime, evening and weekend options. They offer courses at the north campus which is conveniently located in the Briarcliff Development in Riverside, Missouri, as well on the main campus in Midtown.
Art Institute youth classes will take you on “The Great Rainforest Adventure” or have you “Pop Into Art!” The adult studies offer you the chance to get hands-on with “Shibori: Twist, Clamp, Wrap, Reveal!” and learn the traditional Japanese method of resist dyeing fabrics, or take a one-day workshop in “Creating Portraits” and demystify the art of portraiture. These are just a sampling of what they have to offer. All course information is available on the Kansas City Art Institute website at www.kcai.edu/cps.
