Manchester United Season Review 1990 1991

This season will be remembered for United's success in reaching two cup finals and the return to prominence in Europe. Sharpe's blistering pace, together with McClair's goal poaching and Mark Hughes' eye for the spectacular have served the team well home and away. Although United only finished 6th, there were positive signs as Mark Hughes and Lee Sharpe became the PFA Players of the Year. The season would also see young Ryan Giggs thrilling the crowds with his amazing skills.
