Bayer Leverkusen  damaged their chances to make some catching up with Borussia Dortmund at the top last weekend when, although they were two goals up, they only drew 2-2 against Werder Bremen conceding an equalizer in the last seconds of the match. Now even the second spot is not so safe as they are just two points above Hannover 96.

Vfl Wolfsburg beat Borussia M`Gladbach 2-1 in the last round and showed improving performance, but this team is like a cursed with penalty opportunities. The win would have been achieved much earlier if Diego had not missed a penalty. Vfl Wolfsburg were awarded with four penalties this season and they have missed them all. However, now they have a very tough opponent that will come into this match looking for a victory as soon as possible and probably they will take this match much more seriously after dropping important points in the last round.
