Fifty-one 7th graders in North Kansas City Schools have been named state winners in the Duke University talent search known as the Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP). The program identifies 7th graders who perform at the college level in the SAT or ACT.
Of the 51, four have qualified for Grand ― or national ― recognition. The four include Peyton Galloway, Connor Gustin and Ashley Johnson of Antioch Middle School; and Duncan McGraw of New Mark Middle School.
