[Nine37 Productions Home] PUFF 2006 First Night Explosion

The Summer 2006 Portland Underground Film Festival has gotten off to a great start. The opening night featured two films, each which drew a good sized audience: Rodman Flender's "Let Them Eat Rock", a documentary about Boston rock band The Upper Crust, and Reverend Phil's local Bike Mayhem program of PDX cyclist movies and fun. From there everyone rallied to the Aalto Lounge for a party sponsored by New Deal Vodka; needless to say it was a great time for all.

Its just after Seven PM and Jay Edwards is presenting his "Stomp!Shout!Scream!" beach-party rock'n'roll monster movie is playing on the screen. At 9:15 Jason Gilbert will be presenting his film, "The Coat Room", as the PUFF merriment continues.

Congratulations to all involved, the Clinton Street Theater and the Filmmakers especially.
