yayyyy, found my oven, finally(:
& so, i baked some cookies for vdayy.
& as you can see, the first few batches were sadly, chaota.


But after like 10 batches, the cookies were perfect!
my definition of perfect may not be the same as yours,
cos i've never baked cookies, alone before.
Soo yeah, perfect pretty cookies(:(:





& remember i said i went to colour my hair??
Yeahhh, this was the outcome(:(:(:
its sad that this will have to go soon though.
gonna rebond back my hair & HAVE TO remove the colours when school starts:(:(

Went to school for compulsory grooming&makeup course
for Hotel&Hospitality students yesterday by Mr Lee & The Body Shop respectively.


& we were informed about the new rules, ONLY for DHHM students.
No, not good news for me:(
When Yr 2 Sem 1 starts,
we'll be dressing up formally to school,
whenever we have certain modules, Industrial talks or school events.


& Formally means,
1) HAIR TIED UP, FRINGE PINNED UP, NO COLOURED HAIR
(WHYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! SADDDDDDDDDDDDDDD)


2) BUSINESS WEAR.
Ranging from skirts to pants to BLAZER & STOCKINGS.
As if The weather here isnt enough to KILL ME you know!
& STOCKINGS ARE A MUSTTTT:(:(:(:(:
SKIRTS HAVE TO BE KNEE LENGTH, MINIMUM: 4 FINGERS ABOVE KNEE.
*Big HUHH*



3) Only Heels to be worn with a cerain Minimum height of the heel. I think 1.5 & above.
No wedges though:(:(


4) Make-up on. (this point, i've got no complains=] )
except for the fact that this #$%^&@#&*( _______ (why does this particular name always irritate me! TSK)
said something which made me feel like asking her to #$%@^#&*#& OR $^&*(#&.
Come workshop , don't know how to do, take the opportunity to Shutup & learn lah,
%##&*# so much.


This are all the main rules i can remember.
I know i shouldnt be complaining,
cos i should have known that the this is part of
professionalism in hospitality industry.
BUT STILLLL......
i came to poly happy, because I HATED secondary School's annoying rules.
& I COULD COLOUR MY HAIR.
BUT NOWWWWW, BACK TO RULES AGAINNNN:(:(
SAD OR NOT??? YOU SAYYYYY!!



Right now,
I feel like going to the salon Immediately.
Instead of waiting 3 weeks later.
HAIYAAA.
So tired of curls + makes life easier for me when school starts(esp with new rules).
& BESIDES, I MISS MY STRAIGHT HAIR ALR!

SEE SEE, STRAIGHT HAIR!
& yeah, i look like some chinese-speaking ah lian when i have str8 hair.
But that beats having to curl my hair every day!


HAIYAA.
i need my long curls for my upcoming job lahhhhh.

BUTTTTTTTT! i cannot wait till 3 weeks lahh!
RAHHH. i shall pop my the salon & see if they can do it for me,

& as for coloured hair.

i'm just gonna colour my hair with a darker shade of red.
& just don't highlight lor! (:(:




ANYWAY,
I FEEL SO HAPPY WITH MYSELF!
cos i went down to school for interview!


* because of the content i type, i shall not reveal the Hotel's name* ,
the upcoming 5 * hotel @ Sentosa is looking for 12 DHHM students.
So i signed up for the interview ystr tgt with the other 40 plus people.
12 out of so many people lehh!
MY CHANCE IS LIKE EQUIVALENT TO ZERO!?!
look at my job experiences! pathetic.
As if they want someone who's worked in carshow before.


But hehh hehh. They didnt ask me for my experience today(:


The waiting room was filled with tension lah.
& i was afraid that they might ask me about the history&background,
because it seemed that they randomly asked that qn.


plus knowing that you'll be facing 4 interviewers(Facilitators) in the room,
is enough to make you damn scared.


They asked this question:
"In the Hotel you'll be asked to do alot of housework& all, you sure you can handle?"
In short, we'll be doing SAIKANG lor!


2 of the girls infront said that the faciliators weren't convinced or didnt believe they actually
did house work at home.


& THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. RAHH.
The moment i stepped in.
One of the faci said,
" you look so ________ ...... I don't think you do housework at home.
Do you know what you have to do there? "
.
.
.

& my reply was,
" yeah i do! i pack my room, bathe my dog, wash my dog's area (HAHAHAHA).... i have to do work which is 10X the work i do at home.....".


I tried to answer as much as i could alr!
really my very best.....
In my opinion, I did considerably okay....
Considering the fact that it's my first "real" interview,
Plus, interviewed by 4 facis at a go!


If i get selected....
Good, cos it'll be a bonus in my resume.
& for the hospitality industry, this is like "A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY!"
plus, i'll be able to know how its like, DOING LOTS OF SAIKANG.
Its really all about the experiences gained, which is "priceless".....
somethings, you'll have to see for yourself in order to understand! (:




If i don't get selected....
It won't rlly matter, cos a least i alr took a step by going for the interview,
&&&&&
I'll be able to find not so saikang-ish but rather, more slack jobs!
Also, i'll have time to buy my working outfits
& GET MY LASHES PERMED & HAIR COLOUR DONE!


Besides, have i mentioned?
THE PAY IS GROSS&PATHETIC,

Priceless experiences gained, but they make use of CHEAP LABOUR LOR!

FOR THE AMT OF SAIKANG YOU HAVE TO DO FOR THEM, what a rip-off.
but experience, experience, experience.




I sound as if i'd rather not do the job.
But really, as i've said, my chance is EQUIVALENT TO ZERO.
Selection results would be out on Friday!
