Conferences are often for workshops and learning, but at the Missouri State Thespians Conference, it’s also the perfect time for students to take center stage for scholarships and recognition, and to entertain peers while showing off their talents to prospective college recruiters.
This year, students from more than 84 high schools attended the annual conference held earlier this month at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. More than 2,700 competed through audition for recognition and awards, including 10 Missouri State Thespian scholarships offered in the following categories: Performance, Technical, Theatre Education and Theatre for Life.
