Having great ideas for the classroom just earned cash awards for six teachers from North Kansas City Schools.
The Greater Kansas City Region of the Missouri State Teachers Association (MSTA) has awarded project stipends in the amount of $200 each for teachers’ ideas.
Fifty project stipends are offered each year to Greater Kansas City Region’s membership, according to Stacy Williamson, MSTA-CTA president for North Kansas City Schools. Stipends fund teachers’ innovative ideas in their own classrooms.
