Violinist Andrea Johnson, a North Kansas City High School sophomore, has won the Northland Symphony Orchestra’s high school soloist competition held Feb. 18. She will perform Jean-Baptiste Accolay’s Concerto #1 in A minor as a soloist with the symphony during its April 18 concert, held 3 p.m. at Park Hill South High School.
