The Battle of Salamis

In the next episode my story about war between Greeks and Persians I tell to you about huge martime battle at the Salamina gulf.This battle happend in 480 year before Jezus Christ was born.Strenght of Greeks: 380 trieme command by Temistokles from Athens and Eurybiades from Sparta against to Persians command by King Kserkses which had 1200 trieme.I want to show to you model of a greek trieme which is near text.Persians ships sail in Salamina gulf which was too small to 1200 ships be able to unfold enourmous strenght of Persians.28 September during the night Persians boats attacked.It was terrible battle Greeks destroyed 200 ships,Persians soldiers couldn't swim when they melt nobody didn't help them.Greeks lost 40 ships and most of Persians boats were capture by abordage of Greeks hoplist.It was absolutely winner of Greeks which show next time that they didn't scare Persian invasion
