Hello.My name is Robert and I go to IIIa.My favourite subject in scholl is History and that's why I'll tell you about Battle of Marathon which take place in 490 before Jesus Christ was born.
At first we have known why this battle happend because between 500 and 494 take place insurection in Asia Minor give rise by Greeks who didn't want attacked by Persja.Persja with 26 thousand soldiers set off against to 1 thousand Greeks command by Militiades.Greeks falang destroyed all Persia army.In that battle liegsth dead 192 Greeks and 6000 Persian soldiers.After that battle one of Greeks soldiers run into Athens 42kilomiters in order to told citizen about win under Maraton that's why this battle called Battle of Maraton.
