Mad Charlie is a woman who enjoys each day of her life and takes everything what is good in it. One day she meets a great man, Kevin. They like each other in a moment and they start dating. Kevin's mother, Viola, is a popular TV star, but her career is ending. Viola is very upset about it.
Kevin wants two the most important woman in his life to meet, the mother and the fiancée. Viola is going crazy hearing that her son is going to marry a woman who isn't rich, famous and sophisticated.
The movie is full of funny situations, because each one of the two main chracters is very stubborn. Viola tries to get rid of Charlie, but Charlie fights and makes a lot of bad things to Viola too.
Everything ends well. Kevin marries Charlie and his mother accepts her. Maybe not for long...
