National Forensic League Tournament Hosted by NKC Schools & Park Hill

More than 5,000 students, coaches, and parents will be in Kansas City June 13-18 for the largest academic competition in the world, the National Forensic League (NFL) National Tournament. Park Hill and North Kansas City school districts will host the tournament, which draws visitors from across the nation and as far away as China. 2010 will mark the third time Kansas City has hosted the NFL national tournament, having hosted earlier tournaments in 1983 and 1994. Qualifiers to the tournament will compete for more than $250,000 in college scholarships and one of the most prestigious titles in high school academics: NFL National Champion.
