The story of woman's beauty styles

1. TWIGGY - she was popular as a model in 60s of XX. She was looking a bit like a boy. Twiggy was slim and fragile, she had big eyes and very long lashes. She was a type of a woman absolutely opposite to Marilyn Monroe. Because of Twiggy the fashion worls started to like extremly slim girls.

2. BARBELLA - she was a movie character played by Jane Fonda in 1968. She had blond curly hair, big neckline and plastic long boots. That was popular that time, but now it's a bit different opinion about looking like this.

3. GRACE JONES and MONAKO'S PRINCESS - they were a women with "Y" body-building. They had wide shoulders, narrow hips and man's type of beauty. It was hard to say wheather they were men or women.

4. NAOMI CAMPBELL and CINDY CRAWFORD - after man's types there was a "big bang" of woman's beauty. That time, big eyes and lips, long hair, slim but sexy body-building, where the most fashionable and popular.

5. DEMI MOORE - 17 years ago she was on the first page of "Vanity Far". Absolutely suprising and shocking was that Demi Moore on that photo was nude and pregnant! Since 1991 women haven't been ashamed about being mothers.

6. KATE MOSS - this woman broke long-legs stereotype, and even though she's only 1.68 meters tall she's still one of the most famous models on the whole world. That was the style from 90s - skinny, pale and stiil on drugs.

7. ALEK WEK - the woman from Sudan's Dinka tribe was very tall, with dark skin, long legs and short, black hair. In 1999 her photo in Pirella's Calendar became one of the most popular model's photos ever.

8. DEVON AOKI - she was a woman who presented absolutely different style.
She was short, with little lips and slanting eyes. Devon Aoki was someone
"new", the first Asia model.

9. MONICA BELUCCI - when everyone was sick of skinny and manly models, there appeared Italian actress with definately woman's look. She's still one of the most popular, beautiful and sexy women in America and in the whole world.

10. SOPHIA LOREN - one year ago in Pirella's Calendar a revolution took place! There was published Sophia Loren's photo. Even though she's 72 years old now, ahe looked there absolutely beautiful! Thanks that 40, 50 and 60 year-old-woman are popular now. Catherine Deneuve, Jane Fonda, Michelle Pfeiffer are back!
