Wowii -Hoods/Forever -Cartoon Records CR 3 (1979 US)This is the 3rd self-released single by this Florida band who were active on the Eastern Seaboard at the time. Hoods is a fantastic anthemic Power Pop tune with Glammy overtones and is by far their crowning achievement. From the analog synth "bagpipe" intro, to the over the top dedication to "Hoody" Heroes, this track is an out and out Purepop classic -Hoorah For The Hoods!
The other Wowii singles were Rock 'n Roll Singer/I'm So Bad (Cartoon 1 1977), Getting Looser/Meet Wowii (Cartoon 2 1979).
