Battle of Chaeronea

In the second part of my story of antiqity I tell you about huge Imperium which command by Philip II of Macedon and Alexsander the Great.It was Macedon which with them King Philip II was attacking weak states in Greece:Athens and Thebes which protect Greece when somebody attack.The battle of Chaeronea take place 2 August 338 BC in Beotia.Macedon army had 22000 infantry and 2000 cavalry command byAlexander the Great(phalanx) and Philp II(cavalry) against to Greeks states which had 35000 hoplites command by Chares of Athens,Lysicles of Athens and Teagenes of Beotia.Athens army didn't fight with somebody from 20 years and that's why Macedon cavalry situated to the rear of the Macedonian line.Macedon army of Alekxsander the Great attacked army Thebans but the main attack go on army next to Thebans that is to say Athenians which attacked deliberately retread cavalry of Philip II Macedon but in thi moment on left wing attack Alexsander who destroyed Athenians with celebrity style.Athenians and Thebans strenght retread .Casiualites from Macedon side was small 3800 soldiers was killed but Athenians and Thebans lost 8000 soldiers.These battle was the great winner in Philip II Macedon.
