Glenn Danzig is an American singer, songwriter and musician who is largely considered to be the founding father of the Horror punk genre of music. The The Misfits founder and Samhain, from 1988 is leading in the Danzig team.
His music is characterized by dark texts, a rich melodic pattern. He is well-known from the characteristic, powerfully sounding voice. As his greatest vocal model, Danzig is listing Elvis Presley.
Almost always he alone is responsible for texts, music, production and albums. Very often he also directs his music videos.
